Hi!

while there isn't an automatic account creation, are there any plans
to redo the evolution UI, regarding the configuration?
It still doesn't fit vertically in 1024x768.

If you let me know where to change it, I might try :)

Hi!
while there isn't an automatic account creation,
That is bug #15 as far as I remember. I'll look into it during the
next few months unless funding pops up in which case I'll do it quicker.

That is entirely up to the Novell Evolution team to fix. I would
suggest that you try mailing the Evolution list with this problem.
They might even do something about it :-)

Ok, no issues here.

Bear with me on this but, if you reduce the number of shown fields,
won't it take less screen space?
I would vote to get all experimental options under a single checkbox ;)

The experimental options are not really experimental, rather tested to
a lesser extent than, say, the mail component. I feel it is important
to have the option of disabling certain feature such as Public
Folders. A new option pane would be an option, but it is impossible (I
think) to do from my end without support from the evo team.

Anyway, I'm always open for patches and screenshots :-) Maybe your
proposal makes perfect sense when actually seen.

Thanks,
jules

When I have some time, i'l do some screen editing, to brush up my gimp
skills (or on paint.net)

Jules,
Any luck with reviewing our client and server logs from Fri?
Not really. I can see that you actually succeeds in logon on but that
your server side session "disappears" immediately after that.
Or, should we upgrade to 1.0 and try again? Our SA don't see
anything that's kicking me off the Exchange Server right after I
sign on.
Is there anything, anything at all, in the event log?

To qualify this a bit - I'm absolutely convinced that this is a rights
issue on the server. Whether it is the Brutus Server service user, the
client user or a file system rights issue I can't tell. Please look
all over the event viewer. You might spot something.

Good luck,

There is another possibility. Maybe the connection to your Exchange
server (from Brutus Server) is so slow that your server side client
process simply hangs?
