Maybe you should try the new Lorica? It fixes scenarios where Brutus
Server is unable to route the client IP address. Routers and firewalls
is the common cause for that.

Thanks for the quick response guys. But the Windows Firewall is disabled on the server, and I don´t have any other firewall software running on the box.

Thanks for the quick response guys. But the Windows Firewall is
disabled on the server, and I donÂŽt have any other firewall software
running on the box. I will check the configuration.

You might want to try tracing the network traffic between the two
machines with wireshark (Formerly known as Ethereal) www.wireshark.org.
It seems that you can even dig down in the individual corba messages if
you create a wireshark module from the brutus IDL files
(http://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsug_html_chunked/AppToolsidl2wrs.html)

Them I'm pretty sure that it's a configuration problem. I'm daily
testing e-b connectivity to BS on hardy so it really does work. Please
give your BS configuration a good hard look.

But the client and the server are on the same subnet. We don´t have
any routers or firewalls between them.

Them I'm pretty sure that it's a configuration problem. I'm daily
testing e-b connectivity to BS on hardy so it really does work.
Please give your BS configuration a good hard look.

Maybe you should try the new Lorica? It fixes scenarios where Brutus
Server is unable to route the client IP address. Routers and
firewalls
is the common cause for that.

I have tried with and without lorica. No fw or routers between client
and server.
I will call Popeye :)

OK Jules,
But the client and the server are on the same subnet. We don´t have
any routers or firewalls between them.

Them I'm pretty sure that it's a configuration problem. I'm daily
testing e-b connectivity to BS on hardy so it really does work.
Please give your BS configuration a good hard look.

Maybe you should try the new Lorica? It fixes scenarios where Brutus
Server is unable to route the client IP address. Routers and
firewalls is the common cause for that.
