Hi John,

The client has not established a connection with Brutus Server. BTW,
I'll strongly advise you to upgrade to 0.9.39.4. A fairly embarrassing
bug has been fixed.

Please send me the client log instead.

Best regards,
jules
Jules,
Attached is log from the brutus server. Do you see anything that
would cause the exception, "Error scanning folders on Exchange
server ddpvs31.ddpv.com"?
Domain name: ddpv.com
Exchange server: ddpvs31
Evolution client: ddpvl47-lin

Does the brutus.log show any issues from the server's perspective?
Subscribing to brutus-list(*) reveals a thread on the same issue
we're having.

Hi Nazeeruddin,
Hi All,
I am trying to use Brutus to facilitate Linux users to see their
emails (served by exchange 2007) on a Linux client.
I have installed Brutus sever on Window 3003 server,
Wow, Windows Server 3003! You are really using cutting edge
editions ;-)
and gave all recommend permissions. I have installed evolution-
brutus on Gentoo
We tried the latest e-b (1.2.11) on Gentoo (with the last stable
version of evolution 2.12).
This is the error.
< b1b7fb90 >
CamelException.set(0x83d91bc, 305, 'Warning: Using cached folder
information while attempting to connect') Thread b1b7fb90 > Get
folder
/, '<null>') =
No critical errors in the Brutus log. Do I need to install brutus-
keyring?
Yes. b-k holds your password, so it is impossible to connect unless
b- k is installed.
Are there any ready-made clients to test the connectivity with
Brutus
server?
You can always checkout brutus-idl from svn and use the C sample. It
should be fairly easy to get up and running.
I don?t know where the problem. I want to make sure the server is
setup properly and then I will go with client problem.
That's the way to go about it. Please check the server log as well
when you have installed b-k. It will clearly show if your client is
connecting and will also give valuable hints why it doesn't work if
there is problems authenticating and such.
Best regards,
jules
Thank you very much.

Nazeer
